I had this Double Flipp ($12.90) burger at a local burger chain a short 200 metre walk away for work lunch.
Whilst the burger was unquestionably juicy, I thought it had a noteable lack of favour. I thought that it could’ve done with more seasoning, more sauce, more pickles, or really any more kind of thing that would’ve added extra flavour. I found myself eating it, but not really tasting it.
Credit where credit is due, this kind of price for this kind of burger is basically unheard of outside of the Deep West. Around other parts of Sydney you’d probably be looking to pay around $16 for this kind of burg. A second piece of credit goes to my man ED, who provided service with such a cheery attitude, that I also saw him mentioned by name in the Google Reviews by other patrons.
I can attest I had no URTI symptoms whilst eating this burger. Perhaps Fried Brothers around the corner would’ve been a better alternative – if only they opened for weekday lunch.
